Soft point bullets also arent considered armor piercing, nor are solid copper. What's the difference? What do they do? Descriptions don't really help when there isn't really any armor on any players. It is the first sniper that can use ironsight. A free hanging piece of soft armor offers much less resistance to bullets so that projectiles rated to be stopped by the armor stand a greater chance of pass through them. Boat Tail Hollow Point (BTHP): This is a combination of the boat tail and hollow point features. Boat Tail (BT): The rear end of the cartridge is tapered to stabilize the projectile in flight. Armor Piercing (AP): The core is composed of alloy instead of lead. 'Armor piercing point' Discussion in 'General Knife Discussion' started by fishbulb, Apr 28, 2002.
